October Benefit Benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation works to improve the quality of life for those with the disease by controlling its symptoms, while also funding research for a cure. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is one of the most efficient organizations of its kind with 90 percent of every dollar of revenue raised being available to fund cystic fibrosis research, care and education programs. Cystic fibrosis is a hereditary disease affecting the lungs, liver, pancreas and intestines, causing progressive disability through life. Although there is not yet a cure for CF, the introduction of new treatments has extended the life expectancy of those affected from 20s and 30s to ages as high as 40 or 50. |

| Casbah’s Benefit Dinner Series
On the fourth Thursday of the month, Casbah hosts a special dining event to benefit a specific local or national nonprofit organization. Each evening has its own unique menu, inspired by a particular Mediterranean region or seasonal foods. Casbah donates 100% of proceeds to the organizations. We hope you can join us in helping our community while enjoying outstanding food and wine in Casbah's intimate lower dining room. The minimum donation for this event is $200 per person. Guests are invited to write their checks directly to the organization. Gratuity is not included. Please see our 2008 schedule of dinners to the right.
