AKM Columbus
Mad Mex Columbus is currently seeking an assistant kitchen manager (AKM) for our Columbus (1542 N High St in South Campus Gateway) location.
The right candidate is a confident cook as well as a team leader, and excels in a fast paced, high volume environment. You will be responsible for assisting the KM in all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control, and safe food handling.

Requirements: High drive and energy. Management experience in the restaurant industry helpful, but we will happily consider the right candidates with the right experience. Computer skills, including familiarity with Aloha POS system. Good written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with P+L statements and basic restaurant accounting.
